30 Steps for Startups (TM) is a free, 5-week, online program for entrepreneurs who identify as having a disability and who want to avoid costly mistakes and reach profitability faster. Classes occur on Tuesday evenings from January 2nd, 2024 through January 30th, 2024. Classes are from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm EST.
This step-by-step program guides the business owner through the idea stage, to starting, growing, and maximizing their business. Since 2016, this curriculum, in various iterations, has helped thousands of business owners increase revenue and add jobs in their communities. This program is in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, The National Disability Institute, and Will Holmes Consulting.
This class is challenging, and we focus heavily on using numbers to make business decisions. Participants will not graduate if they do not meet the requirements of attending each class and submitting all homework on time.
There are no fees to apply. The program includes 5 free, online sessions for those who are chosen. Chosen participants are encouraged to bring a helper or business partner to assist them during the sessions. For reasonable accommodations, please let us know during the application process.
